Album: KEOS Broadcasts
Date: 2013
Part 1
Part 2

Show this morning includes poetry mixed with snooze button sounds, some more live (even requested) performance, and some fairly epic, long-playing tracks.
This is the last Morning Groove I will do at the KEOS Bell Studios. Its been a blast bringing yall the jams so early in the morning. Really what I consider church, and the best way to start a weekend I could ever think of – get up before everybody else and start getting those fingers dirty spinning wax.
Had some nice company for much of the show and so all props to Greg and Chuck. Chuck especially as he sort of took on the roll of resident kolache technician.
So much thanks to Jason for making the trip so regularly and sharing his incredible taste in choice vinyl with the Brazos Valley.
Much love to Branton and all the folk at the Aggieland Humane Society for everything they do, and their devotion to getting the word out about their organisation and what they do to help.
Props to everyone who listened regularly, sporadically, or caught the archives later on.
So so so much love to those who called in just to say what up and/or make a request.
Sincerely, thank yall for listening.

So yea, I’m back. I been away a bit because I have been training a new volunteer, so I’ve been at the show, just letting her run things. She did great so I’m back at it.
This was a very fun show covering a wide range as I try to do. Oh and I totally get hoaxed into playing the wrong Daft Punk – but still a good track.
Ps. I’m trying a new processing and delivery system – let me know if anything sounds amiss. Thanks yall, glad to be back.

Last pledge drive show for a while, and so I stick to keeping it themed. The theme today is Zoe Muth’s recent trip to the Bell Studios in Bryan, TX. Zoe is from Ballard, WA, and someone who I first came across while I was living up there in Anacortes. Karl Blau and I were to play the Tractor Tavern in Ballard, and Zoe was playing a couple days after us. I looked her up to see what we were getting in to, and really was smitten with her work. Since being at KEOS I’ve played her pretty often on my morning show, and was really happy to see that she was coming to do an in-studio performance last Saturday. I stuck around after my country show and ran the board for them. You can hear the entirety of their excellent set peppered throughout today’s show.
