Trypset and I put down the majority of this one the first time we tried. It’s now made the rounds through some Abletons, racks, daws, and tapes, and I want to be sure to put it out during the December trackaday blowout currently ongoing.

This is just a bs jam I did with a recently acquired Yamaha TX-81Z synthesizer running into my reel to reel. This is the first tape I ever made on that machine, I believe. Finally pulled the sounds off and sequenced this little diddy last summer…it was recorded in Nov of 09 I believe.
Fun fact:
The Sega Genesis sound chip was a 6 part multi-timbral, 4 operator FM synth from Yamaha (+sample channel).
The TX-81Z is an 8 part multi-timbral, 4 operator FM synth from Yamaha.
Is it any wonder everything you do on the TX sounds like Golden Axe or Altered Beast?
